Snowshoe Hiking on the Alpe di Siusi

  • Snowshoe Hiking

Imagine the following scene:

Already our ancestors used a similar method to reach remote wildlife feeding places or mountain huts. They strapped snowshoes to their feet in order to have a larger surface area and thus not sink into the snow. Over time, a sport developed from this: snowshoe hiking – perfect to practice on the Alpe di Siusi. Especially the wide open spaces of the Alpe di Siusi offer wonderful opportunities to experience the peaceful winter landscape up close.

Snowshoe hiking is not only trendy, but also fun and truly healthy. The flexible binding, crampons, and of course also the low weight of the snowshoes make for pleasant hiking through the untouched snowy landscape.
